Hibiscus Whiskey Sour
This whiskey sour will take you to the oceanside of a tropical paradise. Sweet and light flower notes compliment a deep crimson red that will even make the non-whiskey drinker raise their eyebrows and join the festivities.

Method
Place all ingredients, except the ground hibiscus into a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, then double strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Sprinkle with ground hibiscus and serve.
Lavender and hibiscus infused agave mix:
1/2 cup dried hibiscus
1/2 cup dried lavender flowers
12 oz agave syrup
12 oz water
First make 24 oz of agave mix by combining 12 oz of water with 12 oz of agave syrup (1:1 ratio). Place the agave mix, dried lavender flowers and dried hibiscus in a saucepan and bring to a light boil. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 30 minutes. Pour mixture through cheese cloth or fine-mesh sieve, discard solids, and transfer into a clean bottle. Mixture will keep for 5 days refrigerated.
